The shared harness separated where a document lives from the indexes used to find it. Books, papers and references could be linked from different contexts without creating another copy.
The office grew out of a shared agent harness. These changes show how the work record, source handling and verification developed.

Row-by-row reminder synchronisation had created competing task state. The revised design made reminders a capture surface and moved execution into a separate work record.
Work on a longer project was scattered across dated task rows. A project layer gave the continuing obligation its own progress record.
The work ledger and daily view had diverged. The design made the ledger authoritative and the daily note a view of it. A concurrent-write test also showed that file synchronisation could silently lose an edit; each shared file needed one writer.
A reply test passed while the package lacked its command-host helper. The repair included the helper and verified a repository command against the actual repository.
A startup configuration error left the agent service offline for about 18 minutes. Reverting the image restored it. Replacement testing used a copy of existing state; a later task required separating background execution state from the interactive gateway.
The updater distinguished recent input and agent activity from an application merely being open. Unknown process inspection keeps an update deferred, protecting an active session at the cost of slower rollout.
